Responsible entity, scope and effective date

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android application Wattle Commons, version 1.0.0, published for ACACIA COVE RESIDENTS' ASSOCIATION INCORPORATED. It covers use of the installed app on an Android device and is effective from 8 August 2026. It does not govern the separate systems, websites, records or services of the village operator or any external organization.

Intended audience

Wattle Commons is designed for adult residents and authorized adult community participants. It is not directed to children and does not provide child accounts, profiles or communication features. A person who requires assistance should use the app with a trusted adult of their choice.

Purpose and core functions

The app offers an offline community-participation atlas. Its educational modules help users prepare for conversations, distinguish general role boundaries, explore inclusive participation prompts, assemble a temporary preset statement and browse illustrative community-life scenes. It is not an operator portal, booking system, official noticeboard, voting system or current event schedule.

Data collected and transmitted

The app does not collect or transmit personal data, device identifiers, contact information, location, usage events, messages, photographs, documents or form entries. It has no Internet permission and no application-operated server. No information entered or selected in the app is sent to the responsible entity, the village operator or another party.

On-device preferences

The app may store only a small set of non-personal preferences on the device: reduced-motion choice, larger-text choice, onboarding completion and the most recently viewed educational section. These values are used solely to restore the local interface. They are not associated with a name, residence or account.

Sensitive records and free text

Wattle Commons has no free-text note field and is not designed to hold names, unit numbers, health information, care details, incidents, complaints, attendance, financial information or other sensitive resident records. Voice Builder uses supplied preset choices in temporary memory and clears them when reset or when the app process ends.

Android permissions

The release requests no dangerous Android permissions and does not request Internet, camera, microphone, contacts, calendar, location, notification, Bluetooth, phone, storage or health permissions. Android may provide ordinary operating-system capabilities needed to display the installed app.

Accounts, login and account deletion

The app has no account creation, sign-in, membership verification or cloud identity. Account deletion is therefore not applicable. Removing the app clears its ordinary local app storage, subject to the Android operating system's uninstall behaviour.

Advertising, analytics and tracking

The app contains no advertising, analytics, attribution, crash-reporting, social-media, remote-configuration or tracking SDK. It does not use cookies, advertising identifiers, fingerprinting or cross-app tracking. The source images are packaged inside the app and are not downloaded at runtime.

Sharing, sale and disclosure

Because the app does not collect or transmit user data, it does not sell, rent, share or disclose user data to the responsible entity, the village operator, advertisers, data brokers or other third parties. This statement applies to the app itself and does not describe information a user independently provides through real-world channels.

External links, contact and network behaviour

The installed app operates without network access and does not open embedded web pages, submit contact forms, send email or export a Voice Builder statement. Source addresses are provided as plain educational references. If a user independently visits a website or contacts an organization outside the app, that external party's practices apply.

Retention

Temporary Voice Builder selections exist only for the active app session unless cleared sooner. Interface preferences remain locally until the user resets them, clears app storage or uninstalls the app. The responsible entity has no server copy to retain because the app does not transmit those values.

Deletion, backup, restore and device transfer

Users can clear temporary choices from Voice Builder and reset interface preferences from About and controls. Android app backup and device-to-device transfer are disabled for the app's local files and preferences. Clearing app storage or uninstalling Wattle Commons removes its local state from the device.

Security and its limits

Data minimisation, absence of network access, disabled backup and use of Android's private app storage reduce exposure. No software or device can be guaranteed completely secure. Users should keep their device updated, use an appropriate screen lock and avoid placing sensitive personal information into screenshots or external notes.

Children and family safety

Wattle Commons is for adults and does not intentionally collect information from children. It has no chat, public profiles, social feed, photo upload, location sharing or adult-to-child communication. The app's community scenes are illustrative depictions of adults.

Health, care, safety and professional limitations

Recreation, accessibility and household-readiness content is general educational material. The app does not monitor health, provide care, diagnose conditions, recommend treatment, assess eligibility or replace medical, legal, financial, emergency, village-management or other professional advice. For urgent needs, use appropriate real-world services and established local channels.

Policy changes and user choices

A future app release may update this policy when functionality changes. The effective date and version will be revised in the in-app and public policy. Users control reduced motion, larger text, local reset and whether to continue using or uninstall the app. Material data-practice changes must be described before they are introduced.
